Christmas and New Year Breaks
Winter-time in Cornwall is a very special time, it's quiet and peaceful and is perfect for that get away from it all break. If this is what you are looking for then Callestock is just the place for you. This year we are offering 3 or 4 night stays, week stays or you can spend the whole Christmas and New Year fortnight here with us, just click on our availability page. If you want to come between Christmas and New Year just let us know and we will see if we can fit you in.
Our cottages are ideal for a relaxing Christmas or New Year break with full oil-fied central heating and cosy log burning stoves, so that you know you will be warm and feel at home straight away and there are always plenty of logs to keep the fires burning.
A decorated Christmas Tree and a bottle of something to celebrate with will await you along with mince pies and the usual Callestock Clotted Cream Tea. If you would like us to provide you with a special christmas food hamper just let us know and we can organise one for your arrival.
There are lots of events leading up to and during the Christmas time ranging from late night shopping and the festival of lights in the nearby city of Truro, to the famous Christmas lights around the harbour at Mousehole. Why not go to the Pantomine at the Hall for Cornwall or simply stroll up to our local pub, The Hawkins Arms and sit by the fire enjoying some delicious local food and drink.
